Good Omens

Synopsis:

Good Omens is a delightful comedic fantasy series based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The story unfolds with the impending apocalypse looming. Earth is on the brink of the final confrontation between Heaven and Hell. However, two celestial beings who have grown quite fond of the human world – an angel and a demon – decide to join forces to prevent the end of days. Their mission becomes complicated when they realize that the Antichrist, who is essential for the apocalypse, has been misplaced.

Main Characters:
  • Aziraphale (played by Michael Sheen): A fussy and book-loving angel who has been on Earth since the beginning of time. He runs a bookshop in London and has developed a certain fondness for humanity.
  • Crowley (played by David Tennant): A fast-living, snarky demon with a penchant for designer sunglasses. He too has been on Earth for millennia and, despite his demonic nature, has grown quite attached to the world and its pleasures.
  • Adam Young (played by Sam Taylor Buck): An eleven-year-old boy, unbeknownst to him, he is the Antichrist. Adam leads a normal life until events begin to unveil his true nature and destiny.
  • Anathema Device (played by Adria Arjona): A modern-day witch, she is determined to avert the apocalypse, armed with prophecies written by her ancestor.
  • Newton Pulsifer (played by Jack Whitehall): A bumbling but well-meaning witchfinder who becomes entangled in the apocalyptic events.
